Leonardo Cavalli graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and is a Member of the Italian Institute of Architects with over 25 years’ experience in masterplanning and design. Since establishing One Works, he has become an industry expert in successfully delivering designs that enhance and prolong an all-inclusive occupant and visitor experience. Most recently, Leo was proudly announced as the new Chairman of the Architecture Foundation in Milan.
During his early career, he was senior architect for Cino Zucchi Architetti (CZA) and a partner of urban planning consultancy. His background in academia, include the position as visiting professor of urban design at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura Venezia. Prior to this, he was assistant professor in urban design at the California State Polytechnic University, Los Angeles and in architecture design at the Politecnico di Milano.
Leonardo’s latest work includes the successful completion of the award-winning CityLife Plaza and Retail and the extension of Venice International Airport. He also led the winning entry for an international design competition for Qatar Rail’s new Transport Education Centre (TEC) in Doha.
